Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Being a global organisation managing 13,000 fleet and machinery, we need to ensure that all these machines are efficient and safe for use. The Equipment team is responsible for fleet acquisitions, fleet management, international maintenance and continuous improvement so that Toll can continue to provide service quality.
Fleet Strategy Analyst
Toll Group is looking for a Fleet Strategy Analyst to support the development of the multi-year fleet plan, inputs to fleet budgets and forecasts. This position is based in Melbourne.
The Fleet Strategy Analyst, part of the Global Fleet Management team, engages with Toll Business Units and Support Functions to plan and analyse fleet assets. This role involves gathering and sharing information on the acquisition, use, and disposal of fleet assets. Responsibilities include preparing future fleet acquisition plans using operational data and modelling tools, and compiling operational data to ensure safe operation, timely maintenance, and optimal asset age management.

A day in the life of a Fleet Strategy Analyst at Toll Group:
Support the Head of Fleet in strategic decision-making, with a particular focus on multi-year forward planning of fleet replacements.
- Drive change to transition to a centralised fleet operating model.
- Maintain the fleet-in-build database and support stakeholders by monitoring asset acquisition timelines.
- Prepare operating models and strategic proposals, manage multi-year fleet plans, and align strategy outcomes with business partners.
- Develop innovative solutions and research to meet carbon emissions reduction targets, and create reporting tools for asset delivery.
- Collaborate with business partners to create and maintain fleet models and reports for business review.
- Liaise with finance team members to ensure asset schedules and values align with budgets and forecasts.
About You:
- Professional: 4+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, fleet management, logistics planning, commercial roles
- Advanced Excel and exposure to Business Intelligence reporting
- PowerPoint or other presentation applications
- Strategy, Commercial, Operational Business understanding
- Solutions modelling experience
- Outstanding communication & relationship building skills
