Your new role
This role focusses on managing the daily operations of the New Business team, making it perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, embraces challenges, and excels in leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Acting as the main point of contact for team priorities, the individual will coordinate tender submissions and new business tasks, ensuring seamless workflows and timely delivery. They will also manage team resourcing and task allocations by leveraging individual strengths to achieve optimal results.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the tender submission process from start to finish, including evaluation, strategy development, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Lead a team of four, providing guidance, balancing workloads, and optimising efficiency.
Manage multiple submissions simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Focus on achieving the best outcomes while ensuring team efficiency and milestone success.
Continuously enhance submission processes and refine strategies to align with broader practice goals.
Use advanced design and document tools (e.g., InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud) to create professional, visually engaging documents that adhere to branding and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Comprehensive knowledge of Bid submissions and experience within a similar industry is highly desirable.
Design and Marketing Proficiency: Expert in InDesign with a strong eye for creating high-quality, visually impactful proposal documents, plus familiarity with other Adobe tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Project & Workflow Management: Skilled in overseeing multiple projects, managing timelines, and handling competing priorities efficiently.
Leadership & Team Coordination: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and delegate effectively, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Flexibility & Collaboration: Adaptable and agile, with the capacity to pivot priorities and work seamlessly with diverse stakeholders.
Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving outcomes and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Efficiency & Attention to Detail: Experienced in managing high volumes of work accurately and consistently.
