Your new role
A newly created role is now available for a dynamic Learning and Development Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you will play a pivotal role in achieving the organisational L&D strategy. You will manage the L&D support and coordination team, ensuring all L&D activities and programs are delivered to a high standard, comply with all requirements, and are supported through robust learning systems and technology. Additionally, you will oversee the recording of all training within the LMS, lead the development of a learning technology framework to improve learning effectiveness and efficiency, and facilitate the introduction of new learning technologies to the business. Furthermore, you will align scheduled training activities with funding sources to minimise expenditure and support comprehensive reporting, provide advice and guidance to the business on L&D activities, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and internal policies.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced L & D Manager, you will have qualifications in Learning, HR, or Business (preferably at tertiary level) and extensive L&D and leadership experience.
To excel in this role, you will have a proven track record in managing Learning & Development (L&D) support and coordination activities, encompassing finance, governance, compliance, systems, tools, technology, and processes. Additionally, you should be adept at developing, implementing, and managing L&D technology and systems strategies, as well as overseeing training programs and records to ensure compliance with national and state legislation, and internal and external audit requirements.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
