Your new role
Due to expansion and growth trajectory, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join the team.
Reporting to the L & D Manager, the L&D Technology Specialist is responsible for administering L&D IT systems and learning technologies within the broader ASC digital environment. In addition, the technology specialist works closely with other L&D team members and business stakeholders to support the increased utilisation of technology in learning activities across ASC.
You will lead the development of a learning technology framework and operational plans to improve learning effectiveness and efficiency, administer learning technology activities in line with strategies and business requirements.
Additionally, you will integrate new and existing learning technologies into the digital environment through stakeholder collaboration, support upskilling and embedding activities for the L&D team and broader business to adopt new and existing learning technologies. Management of the L&D software licenses and system updates will be required at time whilst leading and supporting organisational and team-specific change and culture initiatives to identify continuous improvement initiatives within the L&D remit.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need to possess strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle, Blackboard, or similar) or demonstrate the ability to learn them. You will have an understanding of contemporary and modern technology-enabled learning solutions, excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to various levels within the organisation and international partners. Your ability to influence stakeholders in decision-making and program execution are second to none.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. Whilst we will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
