We are seeking a dedicated and motivated APS5 Executive Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting senior management, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations, and handling confidential information with discretion.

About the Role
As an APS5 Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. This includes managing emails, scheduling meetings, organising travel arrangements, and preparing reports and briefing materials. You will also support the General Manager and other senior staff, while ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders. Your role is crucial in maintaining confidentiality, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring smooth executive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage emails, appointments, and prepare briefing materials for the General Manager and senior team members.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and assist in document management related to committees and projects.
- Organise travel arrangements and provide logistical support for official functions on behalf of the executive team.
- Provide guidance and quality assurance to staff at lower classification levels.
- Identify and contribute to the resolution of issues as they arise.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
- Assist with maintaining and implementing risk management programs.

- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, prepare reports, and handle correspondence.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and other relevant tools.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work environments.
