Your new role
They have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Test Lead/Senior Test Analyst to join the Testing Services team. As a Technical Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing and/or new systems.
The role will primarily be focused on Test Automation and Performance Testing. The role will be within the ERP (SAP) test team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of test automation frameworks, focusing on SAP testing across multiple modules.
- Deliver automated test scripts, ensuring continuous improvement in the automation process.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and traceability of test cases, ensuring alignment with requirements and business processes.
- Create and manage automated tests for integrated applications, ensuring broad coverage of various system layers.
- Develop, execute, and analyse performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios. Provide actionable insights based on test results.
- Proficiently use performance testing tools (e.g., Tricentis NeoLoad, OpenText LoadRunner) for load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Define and communicate performance metrics, such as response time and throughput.
- Coordinate testing tasks, ensuring timely issue resolution and escalation where necessary.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and organisational testing standards.
- Coordinate test efforts and manage test teams as required.
- Assist in test estimations, ensuring proper planning and resource allocation.
- Mentor senior test analysts and subject-matter experts (SMEs), providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with project teams, ERP Platform teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tests and integration.
What you'll need to succeed
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a Technical Test Lead role, with a strong focus on test automation in SAP environments.
- Expertise in Tricentis test automation suite.
- Experience designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks.
- Proven ability to create automated tests for complex, integrated applications.
- Strong background in performance testing, including the use of tools like NeoLoad and LoadRunner.
- Demonstrated the ability to manage test processes, teams, and environments effectively.
