Your new role
As part of the ICT Branch, the team ensures platform security, governance, and operational stability while supporting innovation and efficiency. This role will focus on Dynamics 365, including Field Service, Customer Service, and other core modules, delivering integrated solutions that enhance business operations. Key deliverables include developing and maintaining Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems via Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and APIs, managing data migrations and integrity, and optimising system performance and user experience. The role also involves testing, debugging, and documenting technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology with business needs, and providing ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to ensure platform reliability and security.
- Design, develop, and maintain Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions, alongside Customer Service and other core modules, using C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Power Platform tools.
- Develop custom modules, plugins, workflows, and extensions to enhance and extend system functionality based on business requirements.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 Field Service with third-party systems (e.g., IoT, asset management, ERP) to enable real-time data flow and seamless interoperability.
- Use Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, APIs, and Dataverse to build scalable, automated workflows for service requests, invoicing, and asset monitoring.
- Handle data migrations for Field Service entities, ensuring accurate transfer of work orders, customer data, service history, and inventory records.
- Implement data validation, transformation, and optimisation to improve analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
- Analyse system performance, identifying bottlenecks affecting scheduling, dispatching, and field mobility.
- Optimise work order automation, routing, and real-time tracking to improve efficiency and response times.
Testing and Debugging:
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure all solutions meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years' experience in Microsoft Dynamics 465 development, including custom coding and system integration (with a focus on Field Service and other Dynamics Modules).
- Proficiency in C sharp, Javascript, .Net, and a solid understanding of Dynamics 365 API's
- Experience integrating systems using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps,
