This is a permanent opportunity to work with a progressive employer of choice with a competitive salary of up to $140 ,000 plus super. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work three days on-site and two days working from home.
Your new role
As the People and Culture Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor, aligning business objectives with people strategies across the organisation. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll build strong partnerships within the HR function to deliver tailored, value-added solutions that drive key business outcomes.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Strategic Workforce Guidance: Provide expert guidance, advice, and support to the Leadership Team, People Leaders, and employees to ensure workforce strategies align with organisational objectives.
Coaching & Development: Coach People Leaders on HR and employee relations (ER) matters, including grievances, performance management, and other complex issues.
Operational Support: Contribute to the operational efficiency of the business by addressing day-to-day HR matters.
HR/ER Solutions: Ensure HR/ER solutions deliver positive, impactful business results.
Industrial Relations (IR): Leverage your expertise in IR to navigate challenges effectively.
Blue- and White-Collar Experience: Bring your ability to work seamlessly with diverse employee groups, including both blue- and white-collar teams.
Metrics & Reporting: Utilise HR tools and metrics to educate People Leaders, driving performance improvements.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Respond promptly to HR requests and contribute to additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a seasoned HR Business Partner / HR Generalist with extensive experience in employee relations, including handling grievances, managing performance, and addressing complex workplace challenges.
This role requires a self-sufficient, proactive approach to give you the capability to come in and hit the ground running in this complex and changing environment.
You are adept at coaching staff at all levels, fostering their understanding of HR principles and best practices and are comfortable working in a complex, diverse organisation where you can flex your skills across strategic and operational tasks.
