We are seeking a highly skilled APS6 Senior Project Officer to join our client's dynamic Service Design and Improvement Group. This role is pivotal in driving large-scale enhancements to improve participant experiences and support front-line staff. As part of the Service Design Planning Branch, you will be instrumental in developing and reporting delivery insights data, ensuring the successful implementation of annual work priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Documentation: Maintain essential project documents, including progress tracking, reporting dashboards, business case preparation, and action item logs.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, capture, and manage risks and issues, ensuring they are regularly reported to Branch leadership.
- Project Scheduling: Monitor project deadlines and report any potential delays to Branch leadership.
- Special Projects: Lead and support special projects, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in data capture and reporting.
- Document Management: Maintain project documents, including dashboards, databases, registers, and templates, ensuring accessibility and version control.
- Organisation Wide Coordination: Assist in maintaining a comprehensive view of programs and contribute to planning and managing changes affecting staff, participants, partners, and stakeholders.
- Meeting Organisation: Organise meetings, create minutes, prepare regular email correspondence, and formal communication regarding the project.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management. Your ability to lead and manage teams, coupled with your technical, professional, and policy expertise, will be essential in tackling complex problems and driving our client's initiatives forward. Your proactive approach to identifying risks and issues, along with your excellent organisational skills, will ensure the smooth execution of projects.
