Your new company is based on the Central Gold Coast and is one of the leading organisations in the industry. Our client requires an experienced and driven Office/Accounts Manager to join their team on a temporary basis and facilitate the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This position has varied responsibilities across accounts and administration and will require a determined individual with the ability to work in a collaborative environment to cover a period of leave of three weeks.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director, this is a multi-faceted part-time temporary role ideal for someone keen to develop their skills and further enhance their career opportunities in the Accounting field. You will be assisting with a range of different accounting and administration tasks as required. Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Invoicing
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Process purchase orders
- Reconcile banking
- Preparing BAS for external Accountant
- Strong excel skills
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in a similar role and a high work ethic. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate solid technical accounting expertise, with a background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will also have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and an eye for detail. The client is looking for someone with advanced Xero experience and Excel skills. You will be motivated and willing to get involved in all parts of the finance and administration process. Additionally, you will have the ability to multitask, excellent time management and be very professional.
