As the Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of our logistics and supply chain operations, driving efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring efficient use of people and equipment.
Direct the day-to-day warehousing and distribution to consistently meet service and financial targets.
Ensure all activities are performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with customer requirements.
Lead and inspire your team to achieve operational excellence and high standards of performance.
Collaborate with the Site Manager to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
Maintain open lines of communication across the Distribution Centre to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
