Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of digital strategy and high-profile technology programs for a federal government health agency. This includes project organisation, monitoring, budget management, and dependencies, and applying effective project management methodologies to achieve the best possible results within agreed program timeframes.
The Program Manager will manage multiple projects and support other Project Managers within the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. They will work closely with project delivery teams to create detailed project plans, track progress, and minimise project risk. Additionally, they will create project schedules that align dependencies and deliverables from third parties/vendors, elevating key milestones as part of the program master schedule. The Program Manager will inform the Director and Branch Manager by providing timely updates on projects, escalating risks and issues with appropriate mitigation strategies.

Required Criteria:
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Program Manager in mobile app, web portal app, and API services product development.
- Experience delivering complex programs within the healthcare industry is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in web portal, mobile, and API services-related projects or solutions.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Familiarity with DevOps and JIRA.
- A strong understanding of FHIR is preferable.
