About the Opportunity:
Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Technology Services, the Technology Business Management Leader role is responsible for efficient and effective delivery of technology services across EnergyAustralia. Responsibilities include:
- Management of the Technology PMO (including 6 direct reports) – project assurance, workforce management, financial management etc
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and oversee performance and service level agreements to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Overseeing financial operations related to vendor contracts and cloud consumption (FinOps)
- Oversight of workforce/SOW management to ensure appropriate resources are available to meet business needs
- Centralising technology reporting providing input into Board and Performance reports and provide accurate and timely information for decision-making
About You:
The Business Management leader is part of the Enterprise Technology Services leadership team and will play a key role in leading and driving the transformation strategy across our organisation. To be successful in this role you will need some of the following experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems or formal training through a focused, reputable provider (eg. General Assembly)
- Professional certifications in project management, financial management/FinOps, or vendor management are highly desirable
- Extensive experience in technology service delivery, strategic vendor management and contract management
- Proven track record in financial operations and departmental financial management.
- Experience in leading a PMO and ensuring project assurance.
- Strong background in workforce/demand management
- Stakeholder management at GM/Exec/Board level including reporting and investment submissions
