Your new company
This manufacturing company, which is a leader in their industry, is seeking a motivated Payroll Project Manager to join their small finance team on a fixed-term contract basis for 15-months approximately. The position will be based in their Carole Park head office, which offers onsite car parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Hands-on BAU payroll processing as required
- Manage the implementation of a new HRIS system and system upgrade
- Set up of new rostering system
- Completing payroll audits and compliance checks
- Identify and resolve any integration issues between payroll and HR systems
- Working with key stakeholders to improve efficiencies across the payroll / HRIS system
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous payroll processing experience with strong knowledge of payroll legislation
- Payroll system implementation experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
