As the company continues to grow rapidly, the Mackay Agricultural branch is looking for new team members. In this role, you will handle diagnostics, maintenance, services, repairs, rebuilds, and attend to breakdowns on a variety of agricultural and construction machinery.
Your new role
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel trucks
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal truck performance and longevity
Inspect and repair hydraulic systems and cooling systems
Test and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines while working on vehicles
What you'll need to succeed
Qualification in agricultural mechanics or any other mechanical field
Practices safe work methods, collaborates well in a team, excels in communication, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
Holds a valid car license
HR and forklift licenses are advantageous
Must have contactable references
