Our client is a family-owned business based in Mackay, Queensland, specialising in commercial and industrial electrical and maintenance work. With over 20 years of industry experience, they offer a wide range of services, including overhead crane maintenance, CCTV and security systems, vehicle hoists, lifting columns, and lift maintenance. Their team is highly qualified, holding various certifications in electrical and mechanical trades, high-risk licences, and safety training.
Your new role
Installing and maintaining electrical systems: This involves setting up new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, as well as maintaining existing ones to ensure they function correctly.
Overhead crane maintenance: Ensuring that the electrical components of overhead cranes are in good working order and troubleshooting any issues.
CCTV and security systems: Installing, maintaining, and repairing security cameras and related systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Vehicle hoists and lifting columns: Working on the electrical aspects of these devices to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Lift maintenance: Performing regular checks and maintenance on lifts to keep them functioning properly and safely.
What you'll need to succeed
Electrical Licence
Drivers Licence
White Card
CPR / LVR – Desirable
Ability to complete a police check
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Living locally in the Mackay Region
Have contactable reference
What you'll get in return
If you’re successful for our position, you will be working locally in the Mackay Region on a Monday to Friday basis, working 40 hours per week. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate + super and be paid on a weekly basis. If you’re the right fit for our client, they will be able to offer you a full-time position.
