What you'll be doingAs the Aboriginal Liaison and Support Officer working in this nonclinical role in the clinical environment, you will support patients identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and their families/carers whilst receiving care at Auburn Hospital. Your role will also be responsible for:
- Providing advocacy, referrals, and liaison during hospital care and discharge.
- Developing links with local Indigenous communities and organisations.
- Assisting in developing hospital programs to meet Aboriginal-specific health stand
