PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the National IACSC, IAC Cyber Security Coordinator, and Principal Security Coordinator (PSC) by assisting in maintaining Tolls adherence to TSA regulations, including the IACSSP, CCSSSP, and cargo screening standards.
- Actively supports all local Toll branches to ensure compliance with TSA IACSSP, CCSSP and cargo screening requirements.
- Supports Toll’s adherence to regulatory agency regulations and requirements related to AES, EAR/ITAR, DOT, FMC, TSA, CBP/CTPAT, and hazardous materials (IATA, IMDG, 49 CFR).
- Supports the development and implementation of local/US trade specific compliance programs.
- Collaborates with various internal stakeholders to ensure compliance across different departments.
- Monitors regulatory changes and updates local/US policies and procedures accordingly.
- Resolves operational issues and coordinates with field personnel to effectuate timely processing of shipments.
- Provides guidance and training to employees on related matters.
- Assists in investigating compliance and security related incidents and violations.
- Undertakes periodic security audits at Toll sites to ensure compliance with regulations, contracts and Toll Standards
- Assists in the ongoing maintenance and compliance of facility security for CCTV, alarms access control.
- Participates in the Toll North America Crisis Management team.
- Assists Toll employees travelling with information and supports regarding Traveler Security Program
- Assists in the background screening process of Toll staff at onboarding by reviewing applications where needed.
- Researches regulations to stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Assists in maintaining records, licenses, certifications, and preparing and submitting reports.
- This position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. required.
- Ability to talk and hear required.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions required.
- Ability to occasionally move inside the office
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
- Ability to move or position self in order to reach, lift, climb, balance, stoop and crouch required.
- Ability to read PC screens; detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Minimum Qualifications
- Must be defined as U.S. Person per ITAR
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge of Customs
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
Technical
- Windows Operating System
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) and Outlook applications
- Working knowledge of current OT including CCTV, Alarm and Access Control Systems
- Authorized security auditor in TAPA standards or similar or undertake training to qualify

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Human Relations
- Self-motivated, with an ability to self-manage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role in the state of New York is: $70,000 - $85,000 per year.
