About Toll Aviation
Toll Aviation, a division of Toll Government and Defence, is an experienced and trusted provider of crewed and uncrewed specialised operations and training, delivering both standalone and integrated solutions for Government, Defence and the civil sector. With a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence, Toll Aviation strives to deliver comprehensive solutions using helicopters, uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and fixed-wing aircraft, in support of communities in need.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Base Manager to oversee operations at our Mascot base. This role is central to the smooth delivery of Aviation services and ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer service and liaison with NSW Ambulance
- Provide day-to-day operational support, including the coordination and management of flight crew rosters
- Perform general administrative duties, including processing payroll-related matters
- Ensure all work, health and safety (WHS) requirements are maintained and adhered to at the Mascot base
- Manage company leases and oversee the upkeep of company property and facilities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for base operations
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Base Engineer, Senior Base Pilot, and Contract Manager on all base developments
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts
- Submit weekly reports on all operational facets for NSW Ambulance and compile a comprehensive monthly report for the Management Committee
- Support various additional duties and special projects as required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an aviation or operational management role
- Strong understanding of WHS regulations and compliance
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- High level of communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with payroll and reporting systems
