Are you a safety-centric professional with a knack for assessing causation, identifying true risks, and implementing effective mitigation initiatives across multiple sites? Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Regional HSE Advisor - Fuels & Gases to oversee our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) efforts across four fuels and gases Transport and logistics operations in Victoria. Based in Spotswood, you will drive the proactive implementation and continual improvement of our HSE culture, strategy, and performance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step up from overseeing a single operation to managing four operations. You will work alongside highly experienced business leaders and Drivers and operators who share a strong commitment to maintaining a robust safety culture.
We are looking for a Regional HSE Advisor with experience in fuels, gases, or dangerous goods logistics and transport operations. You should be a strong influencer, coach, and guide for our operations, with excellent technical expertise. Join us to make a significant impact on our safety culture and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion Safety:Lead Toll’s Safety Obsessed cultural change program, support leaders, and provide onsite HSE advice.
Implement Systems:Roll out Toll’s Global HSE Management System locally, ensuring alignment with Company requirements.
Drive Improvement:Develop HSE Improvement Plans, facilitate HSE review forums, and foster excellent customer relations.
Communicate Effectively:Coordinate HSE communication, deliver HSE meetings and Toolbox Talks, and provide performance reports.
Enhance Accuracy:Improve information quality in Toll’s HSE reporting system (TRAC) and deliver targeted training programs.
Investigate and Mitigate:Conduct incident investigations, analyse trends, support risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar HSE role within the fuels and gases industry.
Transport and Logistics knowlege underpinned by a OH&S qualification.
Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and statutory requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with business leaders and operational teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
