This is a fantastic full-time permanent opportunity to join one of Sydney’s well-established independent private schools based out of North Sydney. This role will be working on a single site, so no travel will be required and a great opportunity to join a close-knit team.
Your new role
You will be joining the team as a Maintenance Officer, doing a variety of maintenance and general tasks to assist in the upkeep and running of the facility daily. Your general responsibilities will be as follows:
Painting/Patching
Basic Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical Works
Assisting in event set-ups and moving furniture
Coordinating with contractors
Other adhoc facilities tasks
Adhering to health & safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a maintenance role (Trade background preferred but not required
Great communication skills
Ability to pass a Working with Children & Police Check
Be comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy objects.
