About the role
During this 12 month fixed term position you will contribute to the design, development, review and continual improvement of the Health, Safety, Environment, management system through the planning and execution of audits and assurance activities.

What you can expect with this role
- Identify the scope and objectives of each audit and develop audit plan.
- Determine proposed audit methods and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with auditing tool, management of information, ensuring validity and reliability of audit evidence while ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
- Identify opportunities to improve HSE Management System improvements, including consultation, identifying actions, and communication of changes.
- Proactively engage customer throughout assurance process e.g. Coaching and specialist advice.
- Manage external consultants/contractors to undertake reviews, audits, investigations and other assurance activity assignments.
Your skills and experience
- Degree level qualification in OSH or Environment related discipline, and substantial HSE experience in a large multi-disciplined organisation.
- Formal qualification in auditing of Management Systems (e.g. BSBAUD503B Lead a Quality Audit).
- Substantial experience and demonstrated achievements developing, implementing and integrating HSE management strategies, plans, programs, systems, and cultural change initiatives.
- Ability to compile and analyse information to draw conclusions and prepare technical/audit reports.
- Demonstrated computing skills and the use of Microsoft suite of computing applications.
- Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high-performance culture.
