About the role
Legal Aid NSW is transforming its approach to talent acquisition! We are looking for experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partners to help us build and deliver our new talent model. We are seeking people who are innovative, motivated and looking to make their mark by working with our team to improve the way we deliver our services and make a positive impact to our stakeholders.
 
 About you
With your wealth of knowledge and experience in Business Partnering, you will partner with business leaders and convey subject matter expertise on talent acquisition through providing consistent, culturally appropriate, advice and support across the full range of talent acquisition and onboarding.
 
You will be immersed with diverse capabilities across the team and contribute to forward thinking strategies to reshape our approach to talent acquisition.
 
You are a seasoned talent acquisition professional who thrives on the challenge of driving organisational change. You can balance strategic and operational responsibilities, and are comfortable working in a busy environment with competing demands.
 
Your strategic approach and communication skills will lead to strong business relationships as you become a trusted partner and advisor to the business through drawing on previous experience to plan and deliver innovate talent solutions.
 
We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
·       have a degree and/or equivalent work experience in human resources
·       be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
·       hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
 
The role ensures statutory compliance with relevant employment awards and legislation (the Government Sector Employment Act 2013), Public Service and Legal Aid NSW policies and procedures. Knowledge and experience in NSW Public Sector (or similar) recruitment is highly desirable.
