Legal Aid NSW is recruiting an Executive Director Family Law.
This is a critical senior leadership role that will lead the largest Family Law practice in Australia.
This role will:
- Provide strategic leadership in a state-wide legal aid family law practice and manage resources in line with corporate priorities and objectives.
- Be an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team to contribute to Legal Aid NSW’s strategies and service delivery planning to ensure high quality and innovative legal services.
About you
We are seeking a highly qualified family law specialist with high level leadership and management experience. The successful applicant will exercise excellent operational and strategic judgement, including being able to manage finances, resources and budgets. Also, have strong stakeholder management skills, be results driven, and able to deliver in line with Legal Aid NSW’s strategic and business plans.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
- be admitted or be eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
- be able to provide a current NSW Practising Certificate before you start work with us
- be willing to undertake a Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (essential for ongoing roles)
