Remuneration: $84,927.17 - $88,673.95 per annum pro rata + superannuation + salary sacrifice
Are you passionate about helping Aboriginal Health workers and Aboriginal people to learn more about the importance of STI, HIV and BBV testing? Are you interested in finding ways to normalise the subject and help break down the shame and stigma associated with them? The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) is seeking a talented Sexual Health and BBV Program Officer to join our team to help coordinate The Birds and the BBV's course.
As our Sexual Health and BBV Program Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in helping achieve our vision and mission. Here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Plan, develop and implement strategies which enhance quality improvement interventions and clinical management activities to reduce STIs and BBVs in Aboriginal people in WA.
- Work collaboratively with the Sexual Health and BBV Program team to effectively deliver key program deliverables.
- Promote and support appropriate existing and planned clinical management of STIs and BBVs.
- Develop networks in Aboriginal communities to build community support for sexual health promotion activities.
- Prepare written reports and other documentation as required in accordance with funding requirements.
