Salary range $90,279 to $95,730 (plus 15.4% Super)

We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Capability (P&C) Coordinator to join our dynamic and dedicated team. This role supports the business within areas of recruitment, onboarding and induction and various P&C projects and processes.  

 

Who are we? 

The Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the ATSI Act and subject to the PGPA Act. The ILSC assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to realise economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits that the ownership and management of land, water and water related rights can bring. The ILSC provides this assistance through the acquisition and management of rights and interests in land, salt water and fresh water country. 

 

The People & Capability team play a pivotal role in empowering the ILSC by shaping the organisation’s workforce strategies, fostering continuous growth, and providing guidance and resources in all areas of workforce relations. No two days are the same at ILSC, and our team culture thrives on supporting each other and coming together to celebrate our wins.  

 

What is the role? 

Under direction from the P&C Business Partner and working closely in collaboration with the P&C team, the P&C Coordinator will provide highly efficient coordination and administration of key People & Capability functions to support a whole of business service to internal stakeholders enabling the ILSC to achieve its purpose. 

Job Requirements:

Ideally, you will have: 

Relevant demonstrated experience in a similar role 
Ability to support the end-to-end recruitment process  
General knowledge of contemporary human resources management theory, principles and practice 
General understanding in the application and interpretation of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation 
Demonstrated experience in supporting the employee lifecycle 
Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people 
A great sense of humour
