Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
 
About the role
 
The ICT Service Desk Team Leader leads a designated team of Information Communication Technology (ICT) support staff to deliver high quality ICT services to Legal Aid NSW metropolitan, regional and remote offices.
 
The role leads a team to resolve varying ICT issues to establish a standardised ICT operational and support environment, and manages ongoing service delivery and support to Legal Aid NSW staff in offices and remotely, contributing to a high-performance team environment and providing excellent customer service. Undertaking travel to offices across NSW may also be required.
 
About you
 
You will possess the following attributes:
·       Demonstrated extensive experience and skill in planning, provisioning and administering ICT systems
·       Excellent customer relationship management skills and a customer-centric mindset
·       Ability to manage and develop a high performing team in an environment with a large volume and variety of tasks, competing priorities and tight deadlines
·       Proven ability to allocate and manage tasks for a team in an information technology environment, including people and operational management skills

The essential requirements for this role
 
You must:
 
·       have relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience
·       have experience in leading ICT Service Desk functions
·       be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
·       hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)

Please describe your experience and interest in any or all of these areas of responsibility and what you would bring to these roles.
