Skills Required You are an influential and inspirational leader who brings an understanding of the context in which Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, or other communities in remote and challenging environments operate. You’re an advocate for self-determination of Aboriginal people, politically astute, have the ability to work under Aboriginal management and your experience also includes: - Strategic leadership and financial accountability at an organisational level
- High level governance, compliance and risk management
- Negotiation and management of government and non-government funding
- Delivering advice to a board or management committee
- Success building trusted and respectful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across government, community members and partner organisations
