  • Total Remuneration $146,074 to $159,860 (Including 15.4% superannuation)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) for a key role assisting in the development, management and implementation of a significant project which closely aligns with the ILSC’s statutory mandate.

 

About Us

 The ILSC is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2005. The ILSC assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to realise economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits that the ownership and management of land, water and water related rights can bring. The ILSC provides this assistance through the acquisition and management of rights and interests in land, salt water and freshwater.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Leader you will:

  • Establish and foster collaborative and strategic relationships with an extensive and diverse range of stakeholders, including with Indigenous organisations and communities, non-government agencies, government departments, financiers, prospective purchasers of operations and assets and community organisations. 
  • Assist in establishing the scope, strategy and planning to facilitate the Project (Project Plan), including key milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate the key activities of all Project Team members and contributors through effective planning, organising and communication in line with the Project Plan and its objectives, through to successful completion.
  • Assist in provision of project advice and recommendations on the Project to the ILSC CEO and Board.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Project objectives through appropriate use of all resources, allocation of scopes of work, to deliver project outcomes, plans, strategies and organisational objectives on time and in budget.
  • Working closely with the Project Leader, define and lead the Project Team to ensure appropriate data collection to support regular and timely monitoring, evaluation, review and reporting on Project activities, oversee reporting and liaise with external consultants engaged on the Project.
  • Lead implementation of the project team reporting framework, probity compliance, RACI model, and integration of these activities to SME scope ownership and deliverables.
