We are looking for a passionate, engaged people leader with exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
 
Critical to the success of this role is the ability demonstrate a robust understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs and attitudes and of the socio-economic position of Aboriginal people within Australian society, and of their impacts in relation to housing and;
 
A thorough understanding of the Aboriginal political and historical impacts upon policy developments in NSW and nationally in relation to Aboriginal land rights, and Aboriginal land use.
 
About the role
 
The role of the Regional Relationship Manager (Sydney/SSE) is to lead the development of active and collaborative working partnerships with Aboriginal Community Housing Providers, community leaders, key government stakeholders, NGOs and clients and a regional strategic plan to ensure the delivery of effective services and programs in contract implementation, client and asset services within approved policies and programs.
 
The position is a Targeted role.
 
This is an ongoing role in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
 
A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.
 
Essential requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership capability by being able to develop engaged, collaborative and high performing teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
 
Role specific capabilities
  • Demonstrable capabilities in developing, leading and delivering operational strategies, business plans, programs and services in a complex social housing environment.

  • Salary range $124,965 - $144,521 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
