Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation (SRAC) is a non-for profit community organisation with offices in Penrith and Harris Park, NSW.
The focus of SRAC Aboriginal Care is:
- to comprehensively assess the needs of disabled and frail older people - to facilitate access to available care services appropriate to their care needs; and - to provide services to support Indigenous disabled and aged individuals within the Sydney region.
These services are delivered through various programs, including Case Management, Social Support, Support Planning, IDAS Advocacy and Ability Links.
SRAC Aboriginal Care believes that aged and disabled clients have the right to access the most appropriate care and support services to enable them to remain independent within the community.
As an Indigenous organisation, we fully recognise the importance of culture and the value of extended family, kinship networks and community in the Care and support of our aged and disabled clients.
SRAC Aboriginal Care provides assessment, information, advice and assistance to Aboriginal disabled and frail older people who want to remain at home with or without carer support.
